B-17 Fortress in the Sky places the player in the heart of the war over Germany and the occupied territories in the autumn of 1944. Defend the Lucky 25 through 25 heart-pounding missions over France, the Netherlands, and deep into the heart of Germany. Players will have to man each gunner position, avoid deadly flak encounters, and complete bombing runs if they are to make it back home safely.

What a load of rubbish!!
This looked quite an interesting game at first glance, but what a dissapointment!! There are 25 missions to complete, but they all basically follow the same plan. You fly out and shoot down some planes (2 mins), you avoid some flack (30 secs), you drop your bombs (1 min) then you fly back (2 mins). If you don't hit the target you go again but as you have unlimited bombs you just need to keep droppping them and you can't miss. It's all ridiculously easy and incredibly dull. Give it a miss!!
