fantastic
My son hasn't stopped playing this game since I bought it and he reckons that it is the best of all the transformers based games. You can play as different characters and up-grade them as you go, making the game faster and more complex.

For all boy's
Engaging, dramatic and absorbing. My 8 yr old son loved this game. Service brilliant and much cheaper than competitors - which was a real surprise.

good in general, but with a couple of problems
when i played this game; i found it to be really fun, quite challenging, but with a two big problems. the game worked completely fine, but it's when you are in the actual gameplay that you encounter these problems. first off, when you choose a vehicle form, you're stuck with it; you can't switch forms, like in the first decepticons game (which, i found disapointing, because i like helicopters, and the vehicles to choose from are only cars). second, there isn't a freeplay option; whilst the missions are fun, and the challenges are... challenging, i liked having the option just to run around the city and cause some chaos, like in the first decepticons game.
so far my review may seem all doom and gloom, but let me continue with the good stuff. in the game, you don't "level up", you upgrade your attributes using energon, although once you have got full attributes, the energon you gain from missions and challenges is rendered useless. the missions are really fun and really hard (at the start, when you haven't quite got the hang of it), everytime i lost i shouted "i hate this game so much!" but if anyone asked "then why do you keep playing it?" i immediately said back "i'm not putting it down, it's really fun!"
one of the best things about the game is that when you are in the middle of a mission, you see a weird-pedestal-type-thingy, if you scan this weird-pedestal-type-thingy you get more parts to add and customize! this means that you can get more energy, more power, new weapons, etcetera.
all-in-all, whilst the downsides are downers, you just forget about the problems and enjoy the game.
