Manufacturer's Description
The Davis & Sanford CarbonLiteX10 is a tripod that features carbon fiber legs and light magnesium metal parts. Carbon fiber absorbs vibration better and is 30% lighter than aluminum counterparts. The 3-way fluid-effect head with built-in Stroboframe quick release and auto closure provides easy mounting and dismounting of equipment and direct connection to many Stroboframe brackets Included with this kit is the SwitchGrip Pan Handle. The Mini Tripod, with it's included handy mini-ballhead, is concealed inside the SwitchGrip handle, ready to be pulled out for when a full-size tripod is not as handy. This option offers versatility and a full flexible range of motion.

Worst purchase of my life :(1
OK...Let's start with the good points. The bag is well-made and comfortable to carry.
    Now onto the tripod! >>>>
Weight: Whilst not a monster to lug, this tripod is very heavy for a carbon fibre one. Well, actually, IS IS NOT CARBON FIBRE. It's a mix of aluminium, carbon & magnesium alloy.
Build: I bought this tripod in a store as it was (to begin with) very sturdy and looked well-made, but looks can be deceptive. First thing to point out is that it comes with an allen key for tightening the legs. You must always cary this with you...the legs come loose very quickly. Actually, bring a whole set of tools out with you as the head fitting, locking mechanism, feet, etc, all come loose.
Actually, forget the tools, bring a metal detector...you'll need it to find all the bits that have fallen off before you got the chance to tighten them!
Actually forget the tripod altogether (sorry - this started out as a balanced review...but this piece of rubbish ain't worth the bother) Save yourself stress...DO NOT BUY ONE!!!!!
