IMazing iMac 24"5
Having grown up with one mac after another, this is the best yet....

I own a MacBook Pro 17", and the screen is great, but this is awesome.....

As a computer for the family...the only problem is that it is so easy to use, and with Parallels Windows 7 looks even better on a Mac and works really well.

Don't fall for the Apple PR3
I bought an IMac 2.93GHz some months ago and now think it was a mistake. Just a warning to others to think long and hard before purchasing a Mac.

I fell in love with the look of the machine. Unfortunately, I have found that looks aren't everything. The first one I bought was faulty and had to be returned. The replacement has turned out to emit a very annoying loud hum when the screen brightness is turned down - and yes it does need turning down either that or you need to wear sunglasses. The screen is also very reflective so it can't be placed anywhere near a light source. Functionality is poor and I miss not having an SD card slot. Forget an IMac if you want to play games of any kind, a) they don't come with any and b) the ones you can buy really aren't that good c) software is very expensive. One saving grace is Time Machine which is an effortless backup system. If you want a machine that looks good just for surfing the web, perform some basic functions and takes little desk space then get an IMac. Otherwise look carefully at other options. An IMac is a case of form over function.
