Brilliant, but.......
Let me start off by saying that I really enjoyed the book and picked up some kewl tips and tricks from it. One of the huge plusses is that it covers design and implementation issues for 4 different types of sites so readers are bound to find something of interest to them.

So, why not a full 5 stars? Well, the book claims to be set at beginner/intermediate level, yet IMHO beginners would often end up being lost; I have a good understanding of Dreamweaver and Photoshop yet I was confused in places - mainly becuase the 'step by step' instructions often make leaps, leaving out important information. As an intermediate who understands the main parts of the apps I use, I could puzzle it out, eventually; I doubt whether a beginner could.

That said, if you are an intermediate and are looking for ideas to freshen an existing site, buy this book.
