Customer Reviews
Works well although some major issues
The pop up map is fantastic for taking away with you to a new city you've never visited before or you simply need a refresher. I've used them before so buying one for Dubai was an essential buy.
However! We spent more than an hour, maybe 2, searching for our hotel. It was listed on the map which we thought was quite handy (The Rimel Rotana). Both my husband and I work with maps everyday in our line of work so we knew something must be wrong for us to be so very lost! We eventually worked out that the hotel had been placed many streets away from it's actual location and shouldn't have been on the map at all as it cut off the road it was really on. Only by retracing our steps from when we left in the morning and using the small map on the back of the business card for the hotel, we finally managed to get back! It was a bit of a scary experience wandering around in the back streets in the dark.
So just make sure you are where the map says you are before you leave, just in case!
