One drop-don't stop
All the 'One Drop' collections give reassurance that true roots reggae music is very much alive.The best thing about these collection is that they serve to often introduce the masses to some new genuine reggae artists.This is not just a random selection of tracks-care has been taken to give a great flavour of everything fresh on the cuurent reggae scene.I am really impresses with the artists on offer here and I will be checkin'out more of their music.Truly the best of reggae dance hall minus the ragga,drum and bass style that I personally don't like.Old skool is New Skool! Ride the riddims-go deh! Don't forget to check this set.

was not sure about this - but it was recommended by friend and it does not disappoint. Lots of lovely stuff and I am not expert on this genre of music but it has been commented on by everyone visiting and hearing it playing over new year! Good buy !

A fantastic comp!
One Drop 2007 includes the roots anthems that have dominated reggae charts around the world. A new crop of Roots stars have emerged this year and One Drop reflects this with songs like Ray Darwin's "People Choice", his breakthrough single which incorporates a modern re-working of the Studio One classic "Mean Girl". Nesbeth, another rising roots star contributes his single "Board House" which has reached the coveted number one position on Jamaica's radio and video charts. Taurus Riley could not have been left out as he has been the dominant singer of 2007, and his single "Protect Yu Neck" is destined to be his next big single.
Another number one single representing the new breed of roots artists is "Music Alone" by Ginjah, a former Beres Hammond protégé.
