Fantastic . You won`t stop laughing!5
You must buy this video! Alan is a fantastic comedian and performer and if you can`t see him live then buy this. ( or try to do both if you can). Alan manages to take mundane everyday things and make them funny. Everything from a fleet of Capris, bananas in pyjamas, bungee jumping, the Queen Mother,Tina Turner, human poo, ladies pants, poppers on bodies and of course the infamous cats and being sick....I`ve watched it at least 10 times and it never fails to make me laugh even though I now (pathetically) know all the jokes by heart. And note that the intro music is extremely funky! Buy it! Buy it!

Absolute must have!5
This is one of the greatest stand-up routines of all time. Much better than his earlier "Live at the Lyric", it's one hilarious anecdote after another. Not as blue as Frank Skinner; not as surreal as Eddie Izzard; not as contrived as Jasper Carrott; just very VERY funny. Some of the themes are dated now, but this doesn't detract from the humour. Alan's interaction with the audience is also spot-on - whilst he is also a great actor, this DVD just reminds us what a shame it is that he no longer has any plans to tour (though you can check www.fansofalandavies.co.uk to see if he changes his mind)! In the meantime, buy the DVD, unplug the phone, pour yourself a drink, put your feet up, and prepare to laugh yourself silly. ENJOY!!!

Alan Davies Hits the ACE5
From the opening titles you can sense this is a show with a lot to offer. Alan's strange ability to take even the most normal of ideas and turn it into something humouros is ecceptional. I laughed my face off quited litterally. I have been a fan from live at the lyric and i thought that was great.... this is far better its just a shame that he has truned to acting like most comics these days... come back alan
