don't buy!
Unfortunately I've had 2 of these - the motor burnt out on the first in 8 months. The store replaced it but the same thing has just happened with the 2nd one, after 15 months. The machine blows dust around rather than sucking it up, and on the hard floor setting it seems to drop a trail of bits behind it. I'm about to buy something else and cut my losses. Save yourself a lot of hassle...

Vax vacuum
We purchased the Vax vitesse pet lover, well as a vacuum, yes it picks up the dog hairs etc., and is useful for high and low settings, but wow, it was never built for ladies, it is so heavy, and as I have arthritis in my shoulder it really affects it. I have never pushed a vacuum so heavy. I have done the carpets on the higher settings which helps pushing it, but on the highest setting it does not pick up our labradors hairs!

Also, it must have been put together by a scientist! The filters etc., are really fiddly to do, but it is easier to empty than our last vacuum.

I have now purchased one of the lightweight vacs so I can vac the kitchen and utility room every day without having to lug this monster around!!

All in all, definitely a man's vacuum. Maybe a good way of getting the man in the house to do the vacuuming!!! But as I say it does its job very well!!

i bought one of these from ebay it is a good cleaner picks up dog hair well i have two long haired german shepherds no complaints very powerful i would highly recommend
