The big brush is perfect for every day cleaning and slots onto the end of the extendable metal tube. For giving your home a super deep clean, the turbo brush is the attachment for you. Normally used with the extendable metal tube for both floors and carpets, this has a rotating brush powered by suction for much deeper cleaning. In no time at all it will loosen embedded dirt, fibres and pet hair before swiftly vacuuming them away

The crevice tool/small brush is another handy attachment as it has a dual function. Use it as a crevice tool for down the sides of upholstery and in awkward spaces that nothing else can reach, or slide the brush 90º from the crevice tool for easy removal of pet hair, lint and dust from blinds curtains and upholstery. When not in use, the crevice/small brush attachment can be stored in a niche at the back of the vacuum

The HEPA filtration also traps tiny particles as you vacuum, giving an extremely high retention of dust and clean air in the room - ideal for allergy sufferers. For your convenience a spare HEPA filter is also supplied, so you don't have to stop cleaning while you wash and dry the filter

Another handy feature is the variable suction control. This will prove invaluable when vacuuming curtains or rugs, as the suction can be altered to a minimum so the item is perfectly cleaned, without it annoyingly trying to disappear into the nozzle. Brilliant
It is compact and light weight, and moves around easily. Not too noisy, even when on full power, it has very good suction power and has no trouble picking up dirt, lint, graval etc, even picks up the dog hairs with ease. It is very easy to empty the dirt container, and even have air freshners to put in the container so when you hoover it gives of a nice smell. It packs away easily, the metal pipe is telescopic and you can adjust it for your height. I would recommend it for dog owners.

After reading 'Babs' review I decided to go with this product. I am not disappointed! The price is really great for such a quality product. You could hoover the paint off of a car with this vacuum. We have one dog and one cat (and though they hate this vacuum as with all past ones) it works wonders sucking up any hairs left around. It is loud, but it is also very powerful. The suction on this thing is amazing. It weighs very little, and is small enough to drag around in a maze of furniture. Really pleased with it!

Cheap n nasty. See reviews for the 13946 b4 you buy!
I bought this as an upstairs only vacuum (so no heavy soil to deal with) & on the basis of these reviews. I wish I had seen the reviews for the similar MODEL 13946, before I purchased it! I concur with the more realistic comments giving it ONLY 2stars & even that is too good! PLEASE look up the model on Amazon & READ THE COMMENTS BEFORE YOU BUY! I sincerely do not understand how this model has gained so many good reviews, do you all work for RH?

Bad points- Not robustly made at all from cheap n nasty plastic that made me wince & look for cracks each time I connected or removed any part.... The floor head scratches & skates over the surface without collecting.... the turbo brush head seizes up constantly & takes ages to unclog. (Pet hair jams up the brushes & is difficult to remove)... It is deafening, you can adjust the power but it screams like a jet engine if you require reasonable suction.... If like me you want a reasonable result for your labour, then resign yourself to repetitious & frustrating cleaning of the filter & emptying of the container without which the suction is totally compromised..... Oh & don't bother trying to remove cobwebs or dust from ceiling lights, the hose/extension is too short. The flexi hose is not soft & bendy either so feels awkward in use & just pushes on to the metal extension tube.... & pulls off when it shouldn't.

Good points, for a small vacuum it is powerful IF you keep the filter & dustbin clean. Er..cute? And I thought Russell Hobbs was a good point too but not in this case.

I only wanted to avoid lugging my 6 yr old faithful up the stairs but I now un begrudgingly enjoy doing exactly that now. It is reliable, does the job in one easy sweep & effortless in use. The cute Russell Hobbs 14164 has been returned for a refund! Hooray!!!
