With Christmas coming up, I'm sure you have a few children, neices, nephews or other over-excitable youngsters to buy presents for. Here's a book which will keep them quiet for a short while, and is probably one of the funniest stories I've read for a long time.
OK, I lie, it won't keep them quiet at all - they'll be sniggering and talking about dog "presents" and frying pan wielding fairies, and fighting over who gets to look at it next. In fact don't buy it for the kids, get a copy for yourself and just pretend you're reading it first to make sure it's suitable. No-one will believe you but once you've read it, you won't care.
