More than just a simple Chrome Vanadium screwdriver set, the JCB-SDS60 also includes a set of metric and imperial sockets, four precision screwdrivers, a multi-bit screwdriver handle with twenty-five different chrome vanadium attachments plus a flexible extension shaft for access to more awkward screws! What's more all of this set is contained in an open out storage/carry case so it will always be conveniently at hand. This great value set has sixty pieces inside the carry case.

There are ten JCB Chrome Vanadium Screwdrivers with soft grip handles for comfort in use. Six of these have slotted heads, while the other four have Phillips heads. The four Chrome Vanadium precision screwdrivers are ideal for those occasions when you need a very small blade head, for instance opening battery compartments on toys or even removing the tiny screws on spectacle frames.

Also included is a multi-bit screwdriver with soft-grip handle, for use with the 25 Chrome Vanadium screwdriver bits, which themselves are contained in a storage belt inside the carry case. There is also a flexible shaft, which plugs into the screwdriver handle. This is for use with either the screwdriver bits or sockets, making access to screws or nuts and bolt heads very easy in confined access areas; for example in a tight corner under a sink, or inside a wardrobe or tight corner, perfect in fact when working in any limited space!

When you need to remove nuts and bolts a socket (or nut driver as it is often referred to) is ideal. How many times have you had to try and remove a nut with a pair of pliers damaging the head because you either don't have a socket to hand or you don't have one in the right size? You may be lucky and manage to gain enough purchase on the nut to remove it; you will definitely be lucky if you manage not to damage the nut head! The JCB-SDS60 has twenty sockets; ten in metric sizes from 5mm to 13mm, plus ten imperial sockets in sizes from 6/32" to 1/2". These carbon steel sockets are heat treated to ensure they are well able to cope with arduous DIY tasks. The sockets plug onto the end of the adapter bar and can then simply be used with the multi-bit screwdriver handle. Alternatively if you own a cordless drill the bar and socket arrangement can be locked into the chuck, allowing you to use the sockets with the added torque control of your drill.

Store the JCB-SDS60 somewhere convenient at home and you will be well served when tackling all those little jobs in and around the house.

Not cheap tat!
I have an electric screwdriver which I am very fond of because it makes a number of DIY jobs a lot easier. Sometimes, however, an awkward angle or the need for added torque means that a manual screwdriver is required.
Having decided to buy a new screwdriver set I was a bit dubious about this particular one because it was so cheap. I risked it and have not been disapponted. This is a quality set, providing a wide range of different screwdrivers, and there is a socket set and a flexible extension driver for awkward areas. The screwdrivers are well made and come in a simple, well-constructed carry-case which sorts and stores the screwdrivers safely.
Overall, excellent value for money.

Fantastic value for money
This a great set of screw drivers and sockets for the money. The set comes in a hard folding carry case with handle making them both convinient to store and carry. The drivers have a nice handle grip making them confortable to use. I dont think you will find a better set for under £10 anywhere.

fantastic bargin
I bought this set from Amazon sometime back and never really got to use it until now.The quality is good when screwing or unscrewing you can feel the firm grip on the screw as you twist,hardly causing any ware on either the screw head or driver head,however the driver heads are painted black and you will see the paint coming off eventually .The fantastic assortment of drivers to choose from is jaw droping for DIY fanatics.The only gripe I would have is that they should have included a stubby flat screw driver as they only include a star one,hey but for the price you can't really complain JCB almost got this one right,and at an AMAZING PRICE from AMAZING AMAZON.All I can say is get your self a bargin before the price goes up.
