It sticks to your memory loooong after you finish reading this book. I read mine over 12 years ago, and can still remember a number of details and dialogues...
The storyline itself is beautiful and versatile, but it is the final pages, that will stick with you for ever. Unfortunately, I lost my copy rather quickly after I finished it, and now I can not get a copy even on Amazon.
The story revolves around the chief sonarman "Sorensen" on a state-of-the-art US nuclear fast-attack submarine, and a new ultrasecret Russian titanium-alloy-hull submarine, the "Potemkin".
It is how these two eternal foes play the ultimate game of hide and seek, that grips your mind and doesen't let go until the cataclismic explosive end.
For all submarine buffs, this is a must-have.
