Practical Exercises for ECDL

Syllabus 4.0

Jackie Sherman

The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is THE internationally recoognised certificate of computing skills. It provides objective proof that the holder has achieved a standard of competence in the most common business applications. Employers are increasingly relying on the ECDL to validate training courses and to recruit computer-literate staff. Passing the ECDL will improve your computing skills in all areas - and allow you to prove it to current and prospective employers.

Fully updated to cover ECDL Syllabus 4.0, Practical Exercises for ECDL provides you with a series of structured questions and exercises for each of the seven modules that make up the ECDL certification. All of the questions and exercises have been designed to allow you to assess your progress with your learning and to helpyou to prepare for - AND PASS - the ECDL Exam with confidence.

Features include:

  • Exercises that increase in complexity throughout each module, enabling you to assess your current level of knowledge and gradually build up all of the skills and knowledge needed to pass the exam.
  • A checklist before each exercise or set of exercises sets out the skills required in order to be able to complete them successfully.
  • Each exercise is cross-referenced back to the ECDL syllabus.
  • Model answers help you to check your work
  • Covers Microsoft Office 97 & Office 2000.

Customer Reviews

Helpful and clear5
This book was a great help to me. I was in a tutor lead class for ecdl but I felt that I still needed more to make sure that I pass each module. Some modules are very hard like Database and spreadsheets, if I didnt have this book to go over and practice the examples, I dont think that I would have passed.
Everything is clear and easy to follow, it almost reads as an idiot guide which is a good thing.
I would recommend this to anyone that needs the extra help on those tricky modules.

Practical Exercises5
As a tutor, I have found this book really useful for the students before sitting their assessment. Students can check their answers with the back of the book and ask the tutor for additional help if needed.

I fully recommend this book to other students.

Good but poor answers3
I read the book and i believe that has very poor answers. Only one picture for answer. It isn't enough to understand. The ECDL candidate needs more help. Thank you.
