Does the job but not especially easy to read.
Only works when plugged in, so if trying to monitor say a fridge where the plug may be in an awkward, dark place, the screen has to be read while it is plugged in and it has no backlight.
Also, the pins at the back had to be filed down (smoothe/chamfer the edges) before it would go in some sockets.
But, it is relatively cheap..

Just what I wanted
Plug in to wall and gives you detail of energy consumption of whatever is plugged into it. Ideal.

Not really worth it...
This does what it is meant to do, measuring power consumption, etc, but as it is one unit it is hard to compare different appliances or understand what the information it provides means! It is pretty bulky and at best maybe its being there reminds me to switch off the appliances properly. It does not save any readings when you switch the power off so unless you want to write down all your readings and all your plugs are in accessible places where you can read the screen it is not very much use.

While it was fairly cheap, at the end of the day this becomes just another useless gadget which is not really very eco-friendly at all!
