Editorial Reviews
CD Description
This "greatest hits" collection spans the short career of one of pop-punk's most celebrated outfits Blink 182. The album features tracks from their 1994 debut 'Buddha' through to the more experimental final album, 2003's 'Blink 182'. The album serves as a perfect introduction into the band's hook driven pop-punk which has always involved a large dose of frat-boy toilet humour.
Customer Reviews
Does exactly what it says on the tin...
Blink 182...Greatest hits... I think that just about covers it.
Seriously though, this cd has some of the best pop-punk and pop/rock anthems of the 90's on it.
In a nutshell, the cd has some of their best singles from their albums starting with 'Cheshire Cat' right through to the self-titled 'Blink-182'.
The first 4 songs are "old school" Blink, just before they found fame and started releasing their more well-known stuff.
Tracks 5 to 11 are classic Blink- the real anthems like 'All The Small Things' and 'Rock Show' that everyone who's even heard of the band should know.
12 to 15 shows the more mature side of Blink-182. The songs here are from their latest (and probably last ever) album. By the time that album was released Blink-182 were already a worldwide-selling act.
The last song is a treat! A cover of the classic 'Another Girl, Another Planet' by The Only Ones. This song has been covered loads of times, but Blink's cover version is probably the best one of the lot.
Best songs on the cd are:
Carousel
What's My Age Again
Rock Show
I Miss You
Not Now
If you're new to the band and you want a good idea of what they're like, this is the best place to start.

If you're new to the band and you want a good idea of what they're like, this is the best place to start.
If you've not tried Blink, try this.
Blink 182 have been at the forefront of punk rock for the last 10 years, and this is a fitting send off for a great band.
All the mainstream songs are here; my only minor niggle with album is the exclusion of some of their earlier genius; my all time favourite Blink song "Apple Shampoo" would have been a welcome addition. I'm glad "I won't be home for christmas" makes it on to the UK disc as this is also a great track.
Also, Blink fans will already have "Not Now" which made it onto the special tour edition of the self titled "Blink 182" album, so it's not really a new track!
Regardless of this, it's still a great best of album. If you've never got into Blink, or you've only heard stuff like "All The Small Things", get this now and prepare for some serious musical enjoyment.
Thanks Tom, Mark, Travis (and Scott) for 10 years of great music!
