Great Rolex Book
Probably the best Rolex book ever written. It has some great pictures and detail on movements.
There are 3 great books on Rolex watches.
This book which has to be the bible.
The lower cost book by Mark A Cooper A movement in Time with Breitling & Rolex, the history. This has more historic facts than the others but not the best pictures.
and The Rolex Report, a good book but now outdated.

Probably the Best Rolex Book written
Ok its not perfect. But when you look at what is out there? Its the best book written on Rolex. great pictures, full of information such as serial numbers and some history.
At points the book looks like it is going to get better then it disapoints.
Example, It has a chapter marked Fakes. Great??? No it last 3 pages and does not show to to spot a fake.

Not as in depth as it first appears
Initially, I was tempted by the sheer bulk of this work, but after I had owned it for a couple of days and the "novelty" had worn off a little, I realised that the actual amount of detailed information contained within was fairly small. The book is mainly photographs and there is very little text present, just a couple of pages as the beginning of each chapter. Overall, certainly not bad, but I would advise any potential purchaser to think long and hard before buying a copy at the full price !
