complete waste of money
Don't bother with this. If you're already a fan then you won't learn anything new.The same footage is repeated throughout & the interviews are with a handful of people. The second disc, supposedly concerning Bono is just a rehash of the first. Please don't waste your money.

Exhaustive baby
I think this set is ideal, especially with xmas round the corner - i already owned the bono DVd from when it first came out, but seeing the other, more general u2 biog included in this package upheld the same standards that i had come to like from this company.
THe people spoken to are knowledgeable and connected to u2 - ok, the boys themselves don't speak, but they rarely do - unless you count the equally excellent U2 by U2 book out at the moment.
Basically what you get here is the whole story, and then one on Bono for good measure. Every angle is covered - to call this a waste of money is insane!

Great value double DVD set telling Bono & u2's history
This double DVD set is great value as it contains two documentaries telling both U2 and Bono's stories. It describes how the band got together, and how they managed to become such an enormous Rock band. It also interviews people that have worked with them and knew/know them. If you are a fan of U2 and those VH1, then I recommend this set to you!
