Multiplayer and party modes are expanded for Karaoke Stage 2, to incorporate singing and dancing into the face-offs and mini-games. There is also a strong element of customisation, allowing players to choose how their performer looks on stage: Body shape and additional features including hair, clothes, accessories and character-specific items all help make their chosen starlet unique. Players are also rewarded for how much progress they make in the game, with a new system that unlocks extra songs, venues, characters and their accessories.

The ultimate in customisation is putting you yourself in the game, made possible via Sony's EyeToy. By performing into the camera, players will see themselves on the Jumbo Screens at the concert venues as their character entertains the crowds - Singing with the microphone, dancing on the dance mat, the full razzle dazzle!

Fantastic!
Was so excited about the release of this game, after having enjoyed Karaoke Stage greatly last year. I think the Konami singing games knock spots off Singstar!
The graphics have improved since the first game, with the ability to modify your own singer! There are more levels too.
The song choices are very good. There is an excellent range, from Whitney to Madonna to Rolling Stones to Hilary Duff!! What a variety!
There are lots of versions of game play, with duet mode, knockout mode, karaoke mode etc, this will give the game longevity (as opposed to Singstar).
The game is also compatible with dance mats, giving you sing and dance option! There are also several minigames which are great fun.
All in all, another successful release from this series.

Fantastic! If you want a great night in with some mates,buy some beer and snacks, and buy this game! It has a good variety of tracks on there, so suits everyone from crooners to rockers, and has over 50 tracks. You can fully design the look of your character (even use your own face with Eye Toy), and unlock bonus songs and outfits if you perform to a certain standard. Particularly fun is the interaction of the crowd - they cheer when you are singing well, and your character gets more lively, and boo you when doing badly, lights are dimmed etc. Great fun.
If you enjoy Singstar, you'll enjoy this, and it gives you a little more interactive fun. Well worth picking up.
