Beautiful Photographs - Interesting Read
As a huge fan of both Indiana Jones & Behind-the-Scenes books in general I was delighted to pick this up at a great price. Official Indy photographer & long-time Spielberg collaborator David James was given full access to the shoot of Indy IV & this book features all types of beautifully shot photo's from candid off-camera moments to full-scale production shots, all accompanied by text summarising each photo.
The book is generally split into seven different main chapters, each focusing on major parts of the movie. Photographer David James provides the reader with a genuinely fascinating insight into how closely an official stills photographer works with the Director & other senior members of the crew & although I've now read dozens of behind-the-scenes books & watched hundreds of DVD extras, this book really did give me a new insight into the film-making process behind a big-budget movie.
The photo's themselves are stunning & if you're a fan of Indy or movie-making in general I'd recommend picking this up.
