Why such bad reviews
I love this CD why is everyone putting it down. It's funny, ok it's silly but thats what Mel Brooks films and musicals are, ok maybe it's not as good as The Producers, but there completely different. Now i've never seen the movies but i've seen the musical of producers/musical film of it too. But its just fun, if you like spamalot you'll love this!

Don't Go!!!
In response to the previous poster - the show is just as trite and vulgar as the album. Don't waste your money - in spite of a master class in comedy from Megan Mullaley and Andrea McArdle, who are quite simply brilliant. The show is a pure reworking of THE PRODUCERS - same routines, same song styles, same gags, but now with no sense of originality or innocent cheek.
Very disappointing.

Trite music with exhilarating but repetitive arrangements. Disappointing silly lyrics including vulgarities. Probably a show to be seen rather than simply heard.
