Elfman, Heart Of The Resistance!!
For many years I've often wondered what a Terminator score by Danny Elfman would turn out like, and now I no longer have to wonder no more, and I can say it was worth the wait.
What Elfman has done with his score is captured the human spirt and heart of the resistance more then any other Terminator soundtrack. Dont get me wrong, Brad Fiedel (Terminator 1 & 2) will always be the master, his masterpiece score will always be remembered as the flesh and bones of the Terminator origins, and rightly so. Where Fiedel's and even Marco Beltrami's (Terminator 3) music captured both the human and machine hearts of the series, Elfman gives us a more rounded earthy sense of destiny and fear, which go well with the themes of Terminator Salvation.
There is one disappointment, the main theme is not included anywhere on the soundtrack or worked into the main score. I'm sure Danny could have put his own spin on the classic theme, thats what you want to hear when you listen to a Terminator soundtrack, but he has plenty of Terminator action themes to enjoy and make up for it.
So, if your a Danny Elfman or a die hard Terminator fan, like me! or your just looking for a good soundtrack, then this one's for you!

how much i hate it when they do that? it's the INTRO to the movie..everyone wants the CLASSIC terminator theme..so where is it? why buy it? unless they releashe a real terminator 4 soundtrack..i ain't buying it. it's a good soundtrack...but it's ethical reasons.. no dada da dada ..no money.
