A beautiful record
What a find! `Life Embarrasses Me On Plant Earth' is a debut album of real beauty and Seventeen Evergreen are undoubtedly a refreshing and unique proposition.
There is a strong organic electronic sonic to the band's sound which ultimately and clearly seperates them from the myriad of todays's rock/indie sound-a-likes. There's elements of Pavement for sure but better comparisons would be the electronic warmth of Boards of Canada and early Air.
Beautiful packaging imagery and visuals add to the pleasure - there's some real thought got into this album - and listening on headphones, glass of wine in hand, you too will be greeted with the sirens of the forest, the stars in the sky and the vibrations of the ground dancing together to form an intricate yet consummate aural feast for your stereo.
It's a beautiful album.

Can't remember how I discovered this band,somehow - somewhere - on Amazon, bought it on spec and I love it, now looking to see if they've recorded anything else.
