The Magic Porridge Pot
I remember reading this book to my children, when they were small, they enjoyed listening to the story, they read it, over and over again, when they could read it themselves.
The reason I have been looking for the book is, I mentioned to my grandchildren that my wash basket was like the magic porridge pot every time I emptied it the next time I looked again it was full and I have been looking for the book ever since, so I could read it to them.
I mentioned it to my sister and asked where I could by it from and she put me on to Amazon.
First Favourite Tales - Fab series for 2 year olds
First Favourite Tales - Fab series for 2 year olds
I bought this entire series to give as birthday and christmas presents, to my 2 year old daughter and to other children. They have been a massive hit. The illustrations are lovely and, like the Snuggle Up series, the way they are written with rhyme and repetition as a central theme make them irresistible to toddlers. My daughter loves these books and wants to read them again and again, and they encourage her to join in too. I really wanted to introduce her to some of the classic fairy stories and this is a great, updated, way of doing so. Highly recommended.
Great book for kids
This is a lovely version of this classic tale. I remembered it from my own childhood and this version has really nice, detailed illustrations which give lots of opportunity for extra chat while reading it with your child. Very recommendable.
