Funny
I had wanted Elmo for a long time, so maybe I had unrealistick expectations (after all; it is a childs toy). It is very funny, Elmos laughter is very contagous, but I expected him to have more features then he does.

Great toy, though my neice is a little timid and he scared her for 1st couple of weeks. However Elmo entertained the adults no end. Lots of moves and fabulous laugh.

Elmo A Disappointment
Unfortunately we received a faulty Elmo for Christmas. It started its routine and then stopped and did nothing. It seems to have limited appeal and was not much fun due to it not working properly....but we didn't get the full benefit of the toy.

There is no educational value to Elmo but not everything has to be educational. It just laughs and falls over and makes you laugh. Sometimes that is all you need in a toy! My 12 and 14 year olds found it quite amusing and my 5 month old was bewildered. It made us all smile until it stopped working.

P.S. Amazon were great and we returned it and got a full refund.
