Every few years since Elvis Presley's death, RCA Records has released a collection of Elvis' love songs, usually in conjunction with Valentine's Day. LOVE SONGS is the label's 1998 entry in the series. These packages vary in length and track selection, although each invariably includes the biggest romantic hits: "Love Me Tender", "Are You Lonesome Tonight?", and "Can't Help Falling in Love". Of these albums--others include HEART AND SOUL and A VALENTINE GIFT FOR YOU--LOVE SONGS is the most conservatively programmed. Nearly all its eighteen tracks will be familiar even to casual Elvis fans.
Among the megahits included here (besides those previously mentioned) are "Surrender", "It's Now Or Never", and "The Wonder of You". LOVE SONGS includes several heartbreak songs, among them "Suspicious Minds", "You Gave Me a Mountain", and"Kentucky Rain". Among the few lesser-known tracks are suchfine offerings as "That's Someone You'll Never Forget" (theb-side of "All Shook Up") and "Puppet On A String" (from the movie "Girl Happy").

Take a break from Rock 'n Roll
Yes we all love Rockin 'n Rollin' to Elvis whatever our ages, but there comes a time when we like to sit down and relax but still listen to the 'King'. This is a must album for those times, so dim those lights, pour yourself a drink and take in the great voice and lyrics that are on this collection. A must for all Elvis fans.
Love Songs at their best
This must be one of the best value "buget" CD's available today. It is a faultless production,superb sound/ songs/ voice, an absolute masterpiece, worthy to be included in any music collection.
Vintage Elvis
This CD features Elvis' ballads from the late 50s and early 60s
when he was at his best. Magic.
