A great read!
They Fight Fires and Win John Barry Lewis' new and first novel, 'They Fight Fires and Win', is a really great read. Once started, I couldn't put it down until the last page. The plot is excellent and believable, as is the narrative. The characters are also true to life with plenty of depth. I would recommend this to anyone as well worth buying.

Flaming Good Read
Excellent read this will resonate with anyone who has been involved with firefighting.From the initial basic training through to the the fear of being in a black smoke filled space with a breathing apparatus strapped to their back trying to find the seat of a fire.From the life enhancing marriages and births to the bereavements of close friends with comedy intertwined with tragedy.

This book brings home the message of what we owe our firemen from road accidents to major incidents they are the unsung heroes of our everyday lives.Highly recommended.
