Customer Reviews
Very wide not extra long!!
I received my boots today and for less than £30 I really don't think there is anything that you could fairly complain about! They are wide boots but I wouldn't say they were overly long. I ordered a 7 and am usually a size 6.5-7. They are generous but I wouldn't want smaller with socks on. There is about 0.5 " free at the toe and not any more than that.
As for the UGG v EMU debate, "You pay your money and take your choice". I would say the Emus have a much stronger sole and are more structured than UGGS. The heel and toe are reinforced inside to provide better wear and this means they also retain their shape better and your foot is less likely to slope over to the side. The UGGS are softer, have little structure, so are more comfortable on the foot to begin with, but don't provide support or retain their shape.
If you factor in cost, then you absolutely cannot beat the Emus. At this price you could buy four pairs of Emus and have change from one pair of UGGS. So it really boils down to whether or not you need to have that UGG label and if it is worth the extra £100+? (and in my case that was a no brainer especially as I need the extra structure that the reinforced Emu provides!)
Happy Feet!
Having worn 'Primarni Uggs' with a synthetic interior and floppy heel, all I can say is these are a totally different animal. The sole is thick and springy, and the real sheepskin doesn't make your feet sweat. The Emu Bronte boots are stiffer than the Emu Stingers, but still very comfortable indeed. Wonderful value for money too!
Fantastic!
I bought these in black in December - they took a little while to arrive, a couple of weeks longer than it had said, however they were well worth the wait. I am a size 5 and ordered a 5 and they are a perfect fit, so warm and comfortable and an absolute godsend if you live in cold Scotland like I do! I never have them off my feet as they are by far the most comfortable footwear I own. I am therefore going to buy the tall boots now in a different colour - I plan to own them in every colour at some point! Would definitly recommend to anyone.
