Purr-fect5
Holly lived in a house with a cat flap but the problem was that she did not have a cat! This made her very sad. One night, she saw a shooting star and she wished she could have a little kitten that would jump in and out of the cat flap. In a flash appeared a... shabby old cat called Tom. Not a pretty little kitten but a scruffy old tomcat! So now she was sad, a bit frightened and also a little bit annoyed as well as cross and angry.
What will she do to get rid of him when he follows her round everywhere? I would rate this really good book 9/ 10 and I would recommend it to anyone who has a dream or wish especially young children because the font is large and the pictures brilliant!

OUR FAVOURITE BEDTIME READ OF THE MOMENT5
This is a wonderful book I would recommend to anyone. My 2 3/4 year old daughter adores Holly, a very believable but not cutesy-cutesy little girl, and her tatty old feline intruder. The illustrations are beautiful, the text warm and flowing. I actually signed in tonight in order to see if there were any more books by the author or illustrator.

A perfect blend of words and pictures5
I bought this book for my son, then took it to school to share with a group of 4 year olds. They all love it so much I'm buying a second copy so I don't have to carry it back and forth. I love watching the children's faces when we reach the tender, happy ending.
