Alot of people get confused here SAC is NOT a follow up. It is the timeline that would have occured if the main antagonist of the movie (and graphic novels) had never existed.

The Stand Alone Complex Movie continues the series. Not as good as the original GITS movie but, to be fair, if someone made a better movie than the original the universe would turn inside out!

One of the most incredible series ever created! Some might tell you to get the movies, I won't because imho they don't contribute anything great to the plot. WARNING: Last ep is a brain melter!

Picks up the storyline form the series and provides some closure as far as the plot goes. A little bit of an open ending....but don't hold your breath for a sequel.

Quite simply a must have for any anime fan. The story does slow down a little in the middle but stick with it and you'll be glad you did

Yet another consistantly good series, funny at times, definately worth a look. Hot women in cool mech suits blowing stuff up, can't really go wrong can you?! NOTE: Avoid the original OVA at all costs!

Even if you've never played FF VII (how is it living under a rock btw?!) this is an awesome movie but I won't lie a couple of playthroughs of the game will help you appreciate it so much more.

The sequel BUT also the better movie, atmospheric and intriguing. Great addition to any collection, do watch the original first though!

Great movie, can get a little confusing though, rather than develop plot and characters it sort of just drops them in your lap but it more than makes up for it with action and gore!
