About the Author
Enid Blyton was born in 1897. She is the author of over 700 books for children and creator of a host of legendary characters, including 'The Famous Five, The Secret Seven' and, most famously, 'Noddy', Big Ears' and the other inhabitants of Toyland. Sophie Smallwood is the granddaughter of Enid Blyton. She lives in West Sussex and, as well as being a writer, is a teacher in a Montessori-based nursery.

A Real Joy!!
Absolutely perfect in every way! Charming and thoroughly entertaining story to delight everyone, enchantingly written by Sophie Smallwood, Miss Blyton's Grand-daughter. This is accompanied by superb illustrations from Robert Tyndall, Enid Blyton's own favourite Noddy Artist, depicting Noddy and his friends exactly as they should be! A beautifully produced book with dust wrapper; indeed a worthy addition to any bookshelf. An ideal gift for all ages! This is intended as a Birthday present for a 6 yr old at Christmas, who obviously has not yet seen it. However, as his grandmother I have looked through it and it would appear to fit the bill.
