Customer Reviews
Very Informative, with lots of useful tips
I'm learning to fly in this type of aircraft, and I've found this book a very usefull addition to my notes and experiences. I have found the section on aircraft handling particularly interesting, and has given me lots of useful tips to try out in my lessons! The book contains very good information of the aircraft's capabilities, inlcuding detailed performance information, and tons of usefull stuff on the aircraft construction, mechanical and electrical systems. The book is well illustrated, with lots of diagrams, but pity there wasn't a few more actual photographs, especially of the cockpit and instrument layout.
A useful guide
I purchased this to help me learn what I'd need to know to train in this aircraft. It's been very useful, providing the important information to learn from the owners manual that you can't take home from the flying club ;)
incomplete - no Warrior III reference
Just arrived - I'm looking at it and I've been over the index and the "model numbers and production years" section. And here's my gripe ; no mention anywhere of the Warrior III despite the book being a 2nd edition dated 2005 and the Warrior III having been available since 1995 - so it would appear to be 10 yrs out of date. From the limited info available on the web ( including Piper's site ) it appears the III may be a rebadged II with improved interior design and optional glass cockpit but if that is the case it is something that should be made clear in the book. Returning it.
