An accoustic masterpiece!
Here again Steve Hackett suprises us with this beautiful accoustic album. Right from the start with track 1 "Cavalcanti", one is drawn into this lovely open space filled with the most beautiful classical guitar. Steve Hackett has proved himself a great rock guitarist, with Genesis and with his solo material. Here we see a gentler side of a man who undoubtedly is one of the world's finest classical guitarist. It is a if the Spanish guitar is an extention of his soul. You can feel the pure joy of track 5, "A Bed, a Chair and a Guitar" and the passion he feels for Kim Poor in track 3, "A Portrait Of A Brazilian Lady". There just isn't a bad track. These pieces will stand the test of time. 200 years from now people will be playing these compositions in concert halls and in music academies around the world.

This is finely crafted work. Anyone who enjoys fine guitar, whether as a player or just as a listener; this album is a must and will sit proudly with any of the greats.
