Customer Reviews
Nose hole, Nose train
I first heard this band while watching the film Point Break. After shelling out good money on the soundtrack just for that one track (I Will Not Fall), I decided to chance an album of theirs, and this is what I got.
What you get is atmospheric melodic rock, with less of a countryish tinge than previous albums. What this band excel at are killer choruses that just won't get out of your head, even if you wanted them to (fortunately you won't). Standout tracks include: Stone Me, Crashing Back to You and Other Lover.
Since the demise of the band, various members have worked with artists as diverse as Simple Minds, Sheryl Crow and World Party, which gives an indication of the caliber of these boys.
There's also an unreleased album 'Snug', which is supposed to be great. Fingers crossed it'll see the light of day, but in the meantime this album will do very nicely indeed.
