Customer Reviews
Listen and enjoy
An utterly delightful set of (mainly) instrumentals in vaguely country style (recorded in Nashville, TN) from the fingers of veteran Chet Atkins and relative newcomer from the land down under. On the face of it, there's nothing particularly awe inspiring here, it's just a beautifully recorded, ace feel-good album to play on a sunny Sunday morning. The virtuosity underpinning it all gradually manifests itself until you appreciate what's gone down here on a whole different level. Tommy Emmanuel's composition Mr Guitar is, well, verging on the transcendental ~ it just soars in a wonderful, uplifting way. Mostly great, though some of the vocals are a bit raw.
