Synopsis
Australian guitarist Tommy Emmanuel is known for a virtuosi style that combines elements of rock and improvisational jazz. This program captures the guitar god in concert at Her Majesty's Theatre in Ballarat, Australia, inter-cutting interview footage with that of a live performance that includes guest vocals by Emmanuel's fiancé, American singer-songwriter Elizabeth Watkins.

Guitar Playing Par Excellence!
I love Tommy Emmanuel's acoustic guitar work! It's not only the virtuoso playing but also his genuine love for what he plays and a humble desire to make people happy through his gifts that make his concerts such a great experience.
Another reviewer mentioned that they would have liked more guitar playing and less singing...if there's one 'flaw' in this concert DVD, I suppose that would be it...but it's still a real delight and my whole family, kids and all, thoroughly enjoyed watching it a number of times!

Could have been great
Tommy Emmanuel is a great guitarist. He is for the acoustic guitar what Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Vai are for the electric guitar. When I bought this DVD I wanted to see and hear some real virtuoso guitar playing. And for 20 minutes I did. The rest of this DVD is much more laid back with some vocal parts and so on. Not bad but I wanted more virtuoso styled playing.
