	Where Have I Known You Before by Return to Forever Buy new: £20.58 / Used from: £8.99 1974. Al Di Meola was only 19 years old when Chick Corea invited him to play with the Fusion Super group Return To Forever. Already a very good guitarist although his style is not completely formed.
	No Mystery by Corea Chick Buy new: £7.98 / Used from: £4.09 1975. The second RTF album with Al Di Meola. Lots of great instrumentals and fantastic playing by all.
	Romantic Warrior by Return to Forever Buy used from: £13.05 1976. The Fusion masterpiece. A CD full of truly Fantastic compositions and brilliant playing. Here Al Di Meolas playing and composition style is fully formed. His Majestic Dance is truly Majestic.
	Land of the Midnight Sun by Al di Meola Buy new: £5.78 / Used from: £6.55 1976. His first solo album. Fantastic technique, great instumental pieces. Meola plays here with a Lot of Fabulous fusion masters like Chick Corea and Jaco Pastorius and Steve Gadd.
	Elegant Gypsy by Al di Meola Buy used from: £6.55 1977. His Masterpiece And one of the greatest fusion album ever.Brilliant compositions and absolutely awesome playing by Meola and the other players. His duo with Paco De Lucia is sensational.
	Casino by Al di Meola Buy new: £15.49 / Used from: £5.89 1978. Al Di Meola has created a truly original Fusion Style which blends Jazz, Rock, Flamenco and Cuban music. This is all beautifully represented on Casino. A Great disc.
	Splendido Hotel [Us Import] by Al di Meola Buy used from: £7.95 1980. Lots of variety here, Jazz/Rock pieces, songs inspired by arabian music, acoustic guitar songs, and jazz/classical fusion by Chick Corea. Some better than others but over all a very good CD.
	Friday Night in San Francisco by Al di Meola Buy new: £6.98 / Used from: £3.99 1981. The fantastic guitar trio live with their first and best. Al with John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucia. An Album full of passion and humour and Splendid guitar playing.
	Electric Rendezvous [Us Import] by Al di Meola Buy used from: £19.33 1982. Hits and misses here, the Di Meola compositions like the title track are tremendous and there´s a fabulous duo with P.D.Lucia but the J. Hammer and P.Saisse pieces are just so so.
	Passion, Grace & Fire by Al Di Meola & Paco De Lucia John McLaughlin Buy new: £15.58 1983. The second Guitar trio album. This one is recorded in a studio and is very good but does not have the same fun filled spirit of the first one.
	Scenario by Al di Meola Buy used from: £19.95 1983. There is to much of pop blended in here for my taste, lots of sequencer keyboard works by Jan Hammer which are a bit to mechanical. But still has some good tracks.
	Cielo e Terra by Al di Meola Buy used from: £45.23 1985. Another brilliant masterpiece. Al plays mostly Acoustic guitar, and on percussion the great Airto Moreira. Great compositions and one of my all time favorite CD´s. Highly Recomended.
	Soaring Through a Dream by Al di Meola Project Buy used from: £11.40 1985. Now Meola has added Brazillian music to the Fusion Blend. One of his best albums. The compositions are very good and Airto Moreira adds a lot to this, AL Playes a lot on Guitar Synth, Great CD.
	Tirami Su by Al di Meola Project Buy used from: £77.59 1987. A rather good one. Brazillian fusion on some pieces and other in the typical great fusion style that Meola created. A great version of C. Corea´s piece, song to the Pharoah kings.
	World Sinfonia by Al di Meola Buy used from: £19.94 1990. The world sinfonia is an acoustic group and here the tango world of Argentina and Astor Piazzolla is added to the fusion blend and the Bandoneon player D. Saluzzi gives it the right Tango mood.
	Kiss My Axe by Al di Meola Buy new: £16.49 / Used from: £6.25 1991. Cinematic World Fusion. Electric and acoustic guitars and great sounding Guitar synths. Lots of great players on this CD like Omar Hakim and Anthony Jackson.
	Heart of the immigrants (1993) by Al Di Meola World Sinfonia Buy used from: £6.87 1993. More Tango influenced World Fusion. Mainly acoustic but Meola Also uses some guitar synths. Lots of first rate percussion and complex arangements.
	Orange and Blue by Al di Meola Buy used from: £6.06 1994. More Jazzy then the previous ones, Meola Plays here, among other instruments, a Gibson Di Meola model Jazz electric guitar. A typical good Meola Disk.
	Rite of Strings by Stanley Clarke Buy used from: £19.97 1995. Acoustic album with Fusion greats, Stanley Clarke and Jean Luc Ponty. Beautiful sounds and wonderful playing. Compositions by all three.
	Di Meola Plays Piazzolla by Al di Meola Buy new: £10.99 / Used from: £5.17 1996. Di Meola plays compositions by the Great Tango master Astor Piazzolla. Also included one Meola Composition, Last Tango for Astor. Very Good CD.
	'The Guitar Trio' ; Paco De Lucia, John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola by Paco De Lucia Buy new: £10.58 / Used from: £5.56 1996. Technically brilliant of course but lacks the passion of the others, sounds almost like they are bored with the concept.
	The Infinite Desire by Al di Meola Buy new: £8.99 / Used from: £3.20 1998. Electric and Acoustic Powerful World Fusion, suite like compositions with grand and first class arangements, syncopated rhythms and sophisticated harmonies.
	Winter Nights [IMPORT] by Al di Meola Buy new: £12.99 / Used from: £8.58 1999. I was sceptical at first, christmas songs with Meola ! but this Is a great CD, it has a very beautiful sound and all the playing is powerful and passionate and without schmaltzy sentimentality.
	The Grande Passion by Al di Meola World Sinfonia Buy new: £8.99 / Used from: £13.33 2000. Mostly Acoustic Fusion with great strings and woodwinds on some tracks arranged by Di Meola and the piano player Mario Parmisano.
	Flesh on Flesh by Al di Meola Buy new: £14.99 2002. All the musical styles that have influenced Di Meola are Fused together here. (See my, More Meola Mania, list for the rest of his Brilliant stuff)
