Customer Reviews
Good for starters but
My knowledge about networks was very disorganised and this book, undoubtedly, helped me organise it. I spent a considerable amount of time reviewing books in the Dummies series about networking and deciding that this was probably the one with the widest possible coverage of networks (not just Wi Fi). Two downsides for this book are the slight degree of repetition amongst different chapters and also that, in my view, advice specific to operating systems should be put under the same heading (for example, one chapter dedicated to Vista, one to Windows XP and so on), so that you don't have to jump paragraphs when you're reading a section.
