Useless for driving in Japan
I bought this on amazon so as to have a travelling companion for a train based holiday in Japan.
However once we decided to rent a car for a 5 day period this atlas is just not detailed enough.
In a Tokyo book store I managed to find a an English Road atlas published by Shobunsha named simply "Japan Road Atlas".The book is a 250 page detailed atlas with city maps and sightseeing maps of key tourist sights.
Definitely the Atlas to look for when travelling for any length of time in Japan.
