A Great Guide for Paris
This was a great buy for the 4 days that I spent in Paris with my new husband. We were on a rather tight budget, so using this book we were able to plan where to go and what to see and how much it would all cost. There also are great tips for food, thanks to this book, we found the best bakery, great restuarants and it took us out of the tourist areas and we got to see more than we could have without it.
I will certainly buy another rough guide book for my next trip!
Not many pretty pictures but full of good detail!
Brought 3 guide books with us to Paris and this was by far the most useful! Good options for cafés and restaurants in each area, and really interesting and useful info on attractions and local areas. Would buy other 'rough guides' and will bring this one with me again next time I go to Paris!
Ultimate guide for those visiting Paris
We went to Paris for 4 days and couldn't have done without this super book.
The guide is separated into each area of the city, detailing places to go, restaurants, shops, museums etc for each area. The author gives detailed information throughout, including the opening times of all major attractions which proved invaluable, especially when trying the plan our day. We found we used it all of the time to decide where to go and how to get there, and it is small enough to keep in your bag when out and about.
There are some handy maps at the back of the book which are referenced throughout the book, so we easily found the places we wanted to go. There is also a copy of the Metro map so we never got lost on the trains either!
You will not need any other guides for your trip, this has it all. Highly recommended.
