Good for 4 weeks
Wife and I shared this and it was fine for a few weeks but being leather, it somehow failed to retain its 'weight' when being used... perhaps something to do with the effect of central heating during the winter months... but did soak in water and it was fine for a few days but then agin continued to get caught against feet when used... unless skipping at approx 120skips/min... now considering a wire jump rope as sold thru amazon uk
Poorly made
I used this skipping rope for about 8 weeks and it was great until one of the handles fell off and it was impossible to fix it back on. Looking at how it was made, the only thing preventing the weight and rope from falling out of the inside of the wooden handle was a small plastic ring so it only takes for you to step on the rope a few times when you're jumping and it will pull right out. considering how expensive this rope is, this should not happen.
The best out there man
I've had a few unreliable ropes so thought I'd pay top-dollar for one to see if it lasted longer.
When it comes to boxing Title/Lonsdale and Everlast(kinda the USA version of Title/Lonsdale) are the best manufacturers around at the minute.
It is much better than any other rope I've ever used and the extra length is great although it takes a couple of sessions to truly get used to it!
Added to that is the fact that this is the same rope Apollo used in Rocky II and I'd say that makes this a must buy, right!
