Product Description

  • By working though the worked examples and advice from examiners, students learn how to avoid the common pitfalls and gain maximum marks in the exam.
  • The book includes plenty of questions for students to practice and, for users of our main teaching resources, there is a link back to the Students’ Books for further study.  The Examiners’ tips then reveal how students can maximize their marks.
  • These books are designed for use throughout the year, whilst the topic is being studied. And, as books are topic based, they also can easily be used by schools that have bought other publishers’ courses.

Customer Reviews

Great revision tool5
As a HOD that hasn't passed his sell-by date and can still remember his own GCSE's, i find this book an excellent addition to any students armoury. It goes through the most commonly asked questions/topics in exams and combines most of what a revising student needs; examples, tips, past exam questions with dates, short exercise to review your learning WITH ANSWERS!. Its thin and does the job very well. I've begun using it to teach from now. Just ordered 30 for my class.
Comes along with a teachers book that is very similar but goes further in that it has worked solutions for all of the exercises.

Can be used along with Course Companion which is the actual answer to a revision book from the same series, and that comes with a CD for an electronic version of the book. Seeing it's done by the examing board it cant be beat, unless you compare it with D.Rayner's books and they ensure A*'s.
