The EZ-Up inversion rack installs in a doorframe, but does not interfere with the function of the door. Best out there - IMO
When you are buying a product that will suspend you upside down - you want quality. If it breaks, you die so I was very happy to spend the extra few pounds on Teeter. They do exactly what they should do. They're made of top quality material and are very strong. I feel totally secure. The only downside was the attachments that you can grab on to pop out sometimes, but I dont personally use those so it didnt matter.
One word of warning though - for novice users - make sure you can get down! If you dont know how strong you are, or if you're not sure you can use your arms to pull yourself back up via a rope or sides of the cage - have a friend there with you, else people will find you 4 days laters hanging upside down covered in your own poo!
Core training for back pain relief.
No dount those suffering with back pain will identify with my situation, I am 44 years old and I have suffered with back pain since my twenties. When it strikes I am left on all fours for days, but this time I found that I just could not get ride of the aching after effects of that first spasm of pain. I went to the physo and had needles stuck in my back and special excercises and I religously did them. Finally I thought that perhaps this was the answer. The equipment is well made, the boots are very comfortable and it is very easy to left down from the brackets my only suggestion to the designer would be to make the brackets white not black, but in truth as I use it vertually every day it never comes down accept for when we have guests and even then it usually ends up being a bit of a party game to see who can get up and into the inverted position. Note that I always found it easy to do but my wife still can't do it. Also the kids think its a great climbing frame/swing.
Does it help my back, well I swear by it, after a long drive or if I've been on a long haul flight then I look forwards to getting back and doing my excercises. I do side lifts 30 each side and 20 to 25 inverted situps I could only manage five when I started, but it has really made a hugh difference, the pain has gone and my back feels tougher. I have had the inverter for eight months and the only problem is that on the hooks of the boots is a non slip material which is stuck onto the plastic hooks with a double sided tape this has worn off and you really need the non slip as otherwize you cannot keep your legs at the correct distance apart so I will need to see if they can send me some replacement non slip. Other than that, you have to be in physically good shape or athletic enough to swing your legs up and get hooked in, remeber when you were a kid and used to hold onto a bar and flip your legs through your arms. Its kind of like that.
If you like a good work out and your back has stopped you in your tracks try this but don't try it whilst you are still spasming. I love to push myself to see how many sit ups I can do, if your the same you will enjoy the unique work out that it give you.
