A brilliant piece of kit
A foam roller seems an odd bit of kit to have, but it'll probably be the thing you use most in your home gym. It's absolutely brilliant to stretch out your shoulders/back (you lie on it, either with the roller, vertically or horizontally). This is invaluable if you spend a lot of time on your computer (ie shoulders hunched in) or cycling (ditto).

You can also use it to 'roll out' sore muscles, by lying on it and rolling the muscle back and forth (absolutely brilliant for lower backs). It's probably best if you get someone to show you how it's done first, but then it's the sort of thing you can leave in your office/living room, and stretch out on it every day.

Does the job and is as expected.

The reason I give it 4 stars, not so much of the performance of the product for the general population, but from my experience. The foam roller lost its shape slightly as a result of my high weight, but was easily squeezed back into shape. This probably wont occur to the majority of people.

Worth buying just for stretching out the spine - great relief for those who are at a desk for long periods of time.

Does the job.
I bought this to help massage my legs for a ITBS problem.
I used the roller in conjunction with several free instructional videos on utube. The roller works well, and doesn't slip (as another reviewer described) on laminate or carpet.
