Love you Elliot
Another one of my Belinda Jones reviews and I have to say I'm still completely in love with the woman (in a strictly girl-power, lovin' your work sista, kinda-way)

The theme of unrequited love is one which nearly all (if not every) woman can identify with. It is written with humour, honesty and heart and it is therefore absolutely marvellous.

I owe my family an apology as I quickly became so involved in these characters lives and loves that I completely ignored them for a whole two days (Sorry....but it was worth it)

Now if only my "Elliot" would wake up and realise that it should've been me....or at least if a Joel could come along and spice things up while i'm waiting...!

I take this book on holiday every single year and its now fallen to peices so ive just ordered another! Belinda Jones is a genius at making you feel like you are there - for those of us who have been to California it brings it all back into sharp focus so amazingly!, she is so brilliant at description. You sympathise so much with Lara and you just want to kick Elliot up the backside for being so spineless, but really I think hes just being A Bloke and a bit slow on the uptake + going with the flow! You just love the array of emotionally damaged guys and girls and how they all unravel and heal, an amazing book, I love it!!!
