Synopsis
Someone has been supplying Class A illegal human power sources to the goblins. Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon Unit is sure that her arch-enemy, thirteen-year-old Artemis Fowl, is responsible. But is he? Artemis has his own problems to deal with: his father is being held to ransom and only a miracle will save him. Maybe this time a brilliant plan just won't be enough. Maybe this time Artemis needs help...

Yippee! Our favourite criminal mastermind is back!5
When illegal human technology has been supplied to goblins all hell breaks out. The illegal technology is, yes, BATTERIES. The batteries have been used to repower illicit guns. But could goblins really have an eighth of a brain to do that sort of stuff? Somebody must be collaborating with the goblins - but who would have the technology and resources to do that?????

Captain Holly Short of LEPrecon instantly singles out her prime suspect... Artemis Fowl. But is the mud boy behind it?

Meanwhile, Artemis has his own problems to deal with. His father is still missing. But how to get him back? Strap in; it's gonna get hot with a trip under the earth. With a seriously cool mission to the arctic. Hey, why not throw in a dip in a freezing cold sea?

Colfer's brilliant book will have you hooked. And if you haven't discovered Artemis Fowl then... WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?! Highly readable. Beware!

Mulch Duggins for Prime Minister!!!5
I'm not a fantasy fan, and i'm not under the age of 16. BUT i do like sarcastic humour and i do like the Artemis Fowl Books.

The second book is as good as the first and has even more of Mulch Duggins in, who is a charachter i really like and find very amusing.

Pick this book up if you want a easy, fun, perhaps even laugh out loud read. Recommneded.

ps I'm 32 years old

The Arctic Incident; greatest series ever4
If anyone can make you feel like your part of the story, it's Eoin Colfer. I really had thought for a bit, that I needed to FIND Holly Short. Eoin Colfer lets you get to know the characters. I had fallen in love with every person in the book. Even the evil side was like your longtime aqquaintance. I felt like I had known Artemis forever, I knew is strengths and weaknesses,I knew his good sides, I knew his bads sides. It was like an action movie, I totally forgot I was reading a Fantasy. It was crazy! It is an amazing story, any fan of Fantasy, Action, Sci-fi, and every other book would love this book. I'd reccomend it for 11+.
You should really read this book.
