Synopsis
Mattie's glad for her mum when she meets a new, kind (albeit a bit scruffy) man. But then they drop the bombshell-her mum and Geoffrey are getting married! Not only might Mattie have to wear a flowery bridesmaid's dress from hell, but Geoffery's son Rupert is coming to live with them. It might be just about be bearable if Rupert was an adorable little five-year-old, but he's a pre-pubescent, spotty, computer geek. And she's sure he's got it in for her-so much so that he makes a complete fool of her in front of the most gorgeous boy in school: Sam Barker. Mattie devises a cunning plan to get revenge. but nothing could have prepared her for the disastrous consequences. Consequences that force her to confront the horrible truth.

Tin Grin5
This book was really good. It's about two girls who live with their mum, after they left their dad. Their mum marries a man with a 13 year old son, and they all start living together. Mattie (the elder daughter) hates this, but while this is going on at home she starts to fall for sex god Sam. This is one of the best books for teens I have ever read!!!! Try it!!!

Tin Grin Review4
This book is great and so funny and cynical! Anyone who's ever
had a crush on a cool guy/been annoyed by younger siblings/felt like they had a naff family will relate to this and love it. It's about a girl called Mattie who is pleased when her mum gets a scruffy new boyfriend, Geoffrey - until he moves in with his know-it-all, nerdy son Rupert. Also Mattie fancies the hunk Sam Barker but does he really like her? Gripping and excellent, this book will make you want to read it again and again.

Best book I've read5
I'm not really a book lover, but this book was great. i read it while i was on holiday and it took me just days to read it! I got really into it! once i picked it up i just carried on reading it for hours. I couldn't put it down. The characters were really easy to relate to. When i finished the book i didn't want it to end, i wanted it to carry on because i had got so into it.
It was a great book to read and i recommend it to everyone!
