Could have gone deeper
I had previously read Curveball (the follow up to Squeeze Play) and was disappointed because it squeezed three stories into one book. I was looking forward to reading this book as it centred on Risk and Jacey (and only on them), who appear in Curveball.

Jacey has always used Risk as her 'rebound guy' to help her get over her 'broken relationships'. Little does he know there has never been anyone else, she is in love with him and that she just uses this as an excuse to hook up with him every six months or so. This idea really appealed to me.

I enjoyed the book, but felt that the sex seemed a bit shallow. I was also disappointed in the way Jacey's secret was revealed, Risk didn't seem to bat an eyelid, I would have preferred something deeper, and more significant.

Squeeze Play by Kate Angell had three baseball romance all rolled into one fun novel. Risk and Jacy are the main character with two other couples that just add to the fun. Risk a World Series-winning baseball player and Jacy have been highschool sweethearts and now Risk wants her as his wife. Jacy has always used Risk as her re-bound guy (or so he thinks).
