A must read5
As the third instalment in 'The Edge Chronicals' this is the best I have read so far. I have only read the first three books but I am serching on Amazon for the next few books for my Christmas present.

Thisis about young skypirate captain Twig (one of the amazing names in this book) who sets out to find his skypirate captain, father nicknamed Cloud Wolf and his lost crew that he lost in a terrible storm. He takes on an orphan (young Coulquape)as his aprentice. Together they set out to find Twig's crew and save the floatng city of Sanctaprax from the trecharous Mother Storm.

I am 12 years old but I think anyone above that age would enjoy this book too. With Paul Stewart's amazing way of writing and Chris Riddell's enchanting black and white drawings this is a book you will want to read over and over again. Thumbs up to this book!!!

Excellent!!!5
The Edge Chronicles are Dr. Seuss in novel form. They are just brilliant. Paul Stewart creates wonderful creatures and natural laws and describes them in such a way that you don't even think to question them. Chris Riddel's illustrations are just as wonderful. Midnight over Sanctaphrax, continuing the harrowing adventures of young sky pirate captain Twig and introducing scholar/apprentice Cowlquape, is by far one of the best Edge Chronicles in the series. So happy reading, and to Paul and Chris: keep on writing!

Paul Stewart captures our thrill once again in his third title of the edge chronicles. His imagination goes beyond and takes us into the world of the edge. In the underground there are drunken trolls but in Sancthaphrax it is a clean place with enourmous buildings. Previous books from the edge chronicles were Beyond the deepwoods and Stormchaser. If you like fantasy read this book. Its a great read.
