Editorial Reviews

Amazon.co.uk Review
This stunning four-book slipcase houses the first four titles in the Harry Potter series in paperback--Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

The perfect gift for Potter collectors, this stunning box set is also a great way to introduce anyone who has not yet been touched by the magic of the fantastical life of the most famous boy in the world. (Age 8 - adult.) --Susan Harrison

The Guardian
'The world of Hogwarts is complete in every riotous, headlong detail. The richness and scale of Rowling's invention is exhilirating ... but the real proof of quality lies in J.K. Rowling's power to draw the reader into Harry's world and make it seem believable'

Daily Telegraph
'The Harry Potter books are that rare thing, a series of stories adored by children and adults alike'

Customer Reviews

Great value5
I had always been hesitiant to read these books due to the mass amounts of hype they attracted, but recently I succommed under pressure from friends.

Although this box set isnt complete (final book missing), it is so much cheaper to purchase this then by the final book seperately.

Its a really good set and great value for money-also I feel that the author developes the charachters greatly as the story proceeds and as it all developes the plot really does engolf you.

Boxed Set Magick!3
And surely SpellingBee is also an alternative name for another reviewer listed on here, and he needs to amend his one and only review and pop a question mark in, where it is appropriate - tut, tut - such omissions from the preacher of modern day education!

You must be mad!3
No matter how good the books, why on earth would anyone buy this box set of 6 when you can wait for the complete set of 7 books in a few months!

The only reason to buy this set is the fantastic price, just over £4 a book, but forget the fact they're in a boxed set!
